Varun Dhawan recently talked about big budget action films. He said that he is yet to reach a level in the industry where the earnings of big budget action films can be justified. There are some producers whose films need more returns at the box office.
While talking to Instant Bollywood, Varun Dhawan was asked if he has self-doubt about big budget action films. On that Varun said, 'I know in what condition I am now. Yes, I can do action films. Have done many action films. But I think I have not yet reached the level where I can give good returns at the box office.
Varun Dhawan said, 'A mid-level action film can be good for me right now, as mid-budget films also do well.' Varun Dhawan mentioned a special conversation he had with Aditya Chopra, in which he revealed what it takes to make a successful big-budget film. Varun said that action films, especially those with huge budgets. Big money and good job are important for them. You have to work hard, because you cannot disappoint your audience.
According to Varun Dhawan, currently his films are not earning enough at the box office, which is required for a big budget film. Especially for the biggest projects in the industry.
