Crime Patrol fame Raghav Tiwari fatally attacked: Action director's son beaten with iron rod like in films, actor says – Police took no action

Actor Raghav Tiwari, who has been a part of several films including Priyanka Chopra starrer 'Mary Kom', 'Saas Bahu' and 'Flamingo', has recently been fatally attacked. After a minor altercation, he was beaten up and then attacked with a rod, causing injuries to his head. The actor has filed a complaint in this matter, but no action has been taken against the attacker yet. According to the actor, the attacker is action director Parvez Shaikh's son.

Talking about the attack, actor Raghav Tiwari said that on December 30, I was returning home with my friends after buying goods from D-Mart. Meanwhile, I got down from the car and started crossing the road. A scooter rider was passing by, I accidentally bumped into him. I accepted my mistake and apologized, saying – I was not paying attention, I made a mistake. He started swearing. So I said to him – forgive me, now you go, let's have a little fight.

I said I won't fight, he immediately took out the knife and used it. I am an actor, I know how to use a knife, the way he used it made me realize that he would be a professional goon whose only job is to fight using knives.

I ran away from him,” the actor continued. A friend of mine intervened and saved me. The man slapped me again, I moved away again saying I don't want to fight. I am doing a series, I didn't want my work to be interrupted due to injury. My friend who was parking the car also came to stop me, but in the meantime the guy kicked me hard. His beating was increasing. For self-preservation I started looking around for things. I got a stick, meanwhile he got the weapons out of his car. Removed the beer bottle and pulled out the rod. The beer bottle slipped from his hand as I hit him with the stick.

Raghav Tiwari further said that it broke as soon as I hit it again with the stick. As the stick broke, he hit me on the head with an iron rod. My head exploded, I got 5 stitches in the front and 6 in the back. There was a lot of blood. I collapsed and then people around and my friend Nancy took me to the hospital.

The actor said – the police did not take any action The actor stated that he was fatally assaulted, but the police did not file any such charges against him. He said that the police have imposed Section 118(1) and 352. Everyone we spoke to said that Article 307 or 326 should apply. I told the police he took out the knife, but the reply was what evidence do you have. If the police are taking someone's statement, take it exactly as it was said. But the police did not listen to me. As I said, no case has been registered. I asked him to get the CCTV footage, he said bring it. The police came to take the footage on our request, but still did not impose any penalty.

Attacker threatens again – Raghav Tiwari The actor has said that after the complaint was filed, the attacker came to apologise, but when she refused to talk, he again started abusing and threatening her. The actor says that despite the seriousness of the case, the police have not taken any action yet. Raghav Tiwari said that the name of the person who attacked him was Mohammad Zaid. His father Parvez Sheikh is an action director.
