Controversy over 'Viki Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video': Accused of story plagiarism; Producer Sanjay Tiwari said, 'We were going to make a film on this subject'.

Writer-director Raj Shandilya's film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video' has come under controversy. Producer Sanjay Tiwari has accused Raj Shandilya of stealing the story. Sanjay Tiwari says that the story of Raj Shandilya's film 'Viki Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video' is similar to the story of his film. Tiwari says that the story of his film is written by Gulbanu Khan. In 2015, the story was registered with the Film Writers' Union with the tentative title 'Sex Hai To Life Hai'.

Talking to Frontpage Insights, Sanjay Tiwari said – I had planned to make a film on this subject in 2017-2018. The film title 'Sex Hai To Life Hai' was registered with the Western India Film Producers Association (WIFPA) in 2018. But due to some personal reasons the start of the film was delayed, then covid started.

When we saw the trailer of 'Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video' we felt that this is the story of our film. We have sent a legal notice to the makers of the film 2 days ago. The T-Series answer has just arrived. He has said that this is his original concept. Raj Shandilya's reply is yet to come.

Frontpage Insights also spoke to the film's writer-director Raj Shandilya about this. Raj Shandilya said, 'If anyone feels that the story of the film matches his film, then speak up. If they have any question after watching the trailer ask what is the story? If we don't answer, express your views in the media. We are sending them a legal notice.

The film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video' is also produced by Raj Shandilya in association with T-Series, Balaji Telefilms and Vakau Films. The film has Rajkumar Rao, Tripti Dimri, Mallika Sherawat in lead roles.
