Coldplay concert craze in India: Even Karan Johar did not get a ticket, the concert will be held in Mumbai in January 2025

British rock band Coldplay is coming to India in January 2025. The booking for the concert to be held in January has started from September 22 and all the shows were sold out within minutes. Book My Show app had a traffic of 24 lakh users during booking, due to which the app crashed. Many famous celebs were also in the waiting queue for ticket booking, though they too could not get tickets. Filmmaker Karan Johar said through a social media post that despite being privileged, he missed the opportunity to book tickets.

Karan wrote on the social media platform, “Dear Privilege, I love how Coldplay and The Mini Kelly (fashion brand) always keep you grounded.” Darling, you can't always get what you want.

When will the concert be held in India?

Let us tell you that Coldplay band is coming to India for 'Music of the Spheres' world tour. The band will perform at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21. Initially this concert was to be held in India for only 2 days, however, seeing the fan craze, Coldplay has announced to perform for 3 days instead of 2.

Bookings for the concert were opened on the Book My Show app at 12 noon on Sunday, but the app crashed due to traffic from millions of users. After this, a waiting queue was created in Book My Show, through which users were placed in the waiting room. This waiting list was in lakhs.

The ticket re-selling price reached Rs 10 lakh

Coldplay concert tickets in India cost Rs. 2500 to Rs. 35 thousand, although now the same tickets are re-selling for Rs. 10 lakhs are being sold. According to a Mint report, the Rs 3500 lounge ticket is now being made available on other sites for Rs 10 lakh.
