Co-star Himani Shivpuri on MeToo accused Alok Nath: 'He's cultured when he doesn't drink, but after drinking he changes'

During the MeToo movement in 2018, Bollywood actor Alok Nath faced several serious allegations. Now in a recent interview, actress Himani Shivpuri, who has worked with Alok in films like 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun' and 'Pardes', talked about this issue. In an interview given to Siddharth Kannan, Himani Shivpuri said, 'Alok Nath used to behave well on the sets, but after drinking alcohol, he would change completely.' The actress recalled an incident during the shooting of 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun', in which the actor caused a ruckus under the influence of alcohol. 'He becomes a different person after drinking' continued Himani, 'I have worked with him a lot before and the great thing about him is that he seems civilized when he is not drinking. His personality is exactly like Jekyll and Hyde. Barring one incident at NSD, I never had any problems with it. But I've heard from people that after a few drinks they become a different person. Once disembarked from a flight, Himani said that once Alok Nath became uncontrollable after drinking alcohol on the flight. The actress along with his wife also tried to calm him down. They were also warned to be careful or they would be kicked off the flight. According to the actress, the actor was kicked off a flight once before. Writer-producer Vinatha Nanda accused of rape In 2018, writer-producer Vinatha Nanda accused Alok of rape. Apart from this, actresses like Sandhya Mridul and Navneet Nishan also accused him of sexual harassment. Since then, Alok has only appeared in two films 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and 'De De Pyar De'. Now he is not even seen in any function.
