Yamini Malhotra, who entered Bigg Boss 18 as a wild card entry, is not getting a home in Mumbai. According to Yamini, wherever she goes to buy a house, she is asked about her religion. Even after this, if someone agrees to give a house, he refuses after listening to the actress.
Yamini Malhotra recently expressed her displeasure about this in the story section of her official Instagram account. He wrote, Hello friends, I want to share something that hurts my heart. As much as I love Mumbai, I am finding it difficult to find a home here. I am asked questions whether I am a Muslim or a Hindu. Am I Gujarati or Marwari?
He further wrote that, as soon as people heard about the actor, they refused to give me a house. Does being an actor make me less eligible to own a house? I am surprised to know that these questions are being asked even in 2025. Can we really call it a city of dreams, when there are so many conditions for dreams?
Apart from Yamini Malhotra, actresses Charu Asopa, Akanksha Juneja, aka Javed, Shehzadi of Bigg Boss fame and Shireen Mirza also mentioned facing such problems.
Talking about Yamini Malhotra, the actress entered the reality show Bigg Boss 18 as a wild card contestant. Hailing from Delhi, Yamini made her acting debut with the 2016 film Main Teri Tu Mera. Apart from this, she has appeared in Punjabi films like Nanak Naam Jahaaz Ka, Dil Hoa Chahinda Jawan.
