Amitabh Bachchan's family office buys stake in Swiggy: Company to launch IPO soon, raise ₹10,414 crore

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan's family office has bought a minor stake in food delivery and quick commerce platform Swiggy. According to media reports, the Bachchan family bought the stake from company employees and early investors. However, the amount of this deal has not been disclosed yet. The company declined to comment when Swiggy was asked for information on this pending an official statement. Even Big B has not made any official statement regarding this till now. Investor interest in fast-paced commerce industry increased The Bachchan family has made this investment at a time when investor interest in fast-paced commerce industry is increasing. In April this year, Swiggy raised Rs. 10,414 crore was approved by shareholders to raise funds. Recently, the share of food delivery company Zomato is also seeing a continuous increase. The company's shares were listed on the market in July 2021, and have gained more than 200 percent since then. Meanwhile, encouraged by Zomato's success, the Bachchan family has bought a stake in Swiggy. Was seen in the role of Ashwatthama in 'Kalki'. On the work front, Amitabh is currently hosting the 16th season of 'KBC'. Before this, he was seen in the role of Ashwatthama in the film 'Kalki'. This is the highest grossing film of this year.
