Fans knew no bounds when 'Pushpa' star Allu Arjun won the National Award for Best Actor in the year 2023. Allu Arjun held the record of becoming the first Telugu actor to win a National Award. He got this award for the film 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Allu Arjun had then said that he had been dreaming of the National Award for a long time, but was heartbroken when he won. The actor has now revealed this.
Allu Arjun will now be seen in 'Pushpa 2', which is releasing on 5th December. Its trailer will be released soon. Allu Arjun said in an interview to Unstoppable NBC, 'The only thing I told Sukumar was that I don't care whether the film is a hit or a flop, I want this film to win us our first National Award for Best Actor.'
Allu Arjun told this to the director of 'Pushpa' 'Then Sukumar told me that I will try my best to get you the National Award. And you won't believe that for every single shot, Sukumar was saying Darling, this range is not very good for the National Award.'
'I was sad when I got the National Award' Allu continued, 'I was sad when I got the National Award. Once I was looking at the list of national award winners and I didn't find a single Telugu name. I only saw the name of Nagarjuna sir, but he also got a special role. There was no one as the best actor. It stuck in my mind.
'So many great celebrities in Tollywood, then why didn't they get an award?' Allu Arjun said, 'I said to myself that there are such good actors, then how did they miss out? How could your generation miss this? What about older generations? There are so many great celebrities in Tollywood, so why didn't we get an award? I was more sad than happy when I got the National Award. I thought it took so long for a Telugu star to win this award?
'Pushpa 2' trailer launch in Patna on 17th November Now preparations are underway for the trailer launch of 'Pushpa 2'. A grand trailer launch event has been planned on November 17 at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. It will be launched at 6 pm. According to the makers, the trailer of 'Pushpa 2' will be 2 minutes 44 seconds long.
