The finale of 'Bigg Boss 18' was held on 19 January. Aamir Khan, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor arrived in this finale episode, though there were reports for the past few days that Akshay Kumar will also be a part of the finale. Akshay Kumar also reached the sets of Bigg Boss for the shoot, but when Salman did not turn up on time, the actor got angry and left.
According to a recent Hindustan Times report, Akshay Kumar always reaches the sets on time. He reached the sets of Bigg Boss at the appointed time. He came to the set around 2.15 pm, but Salman did not come till then. Akshay Kumar waited for Salman Khan on the set for almost an hour, but when he did not come, Akshay Kumar left the set.
According to the report, Akshay Kumar was going to the trial screening of the upcoming film Jolly LLB 3. So after waiting for an hour he left without shooting Bigg Boss. The Bigg Boss team made several calls to Akshay after his departure, but there was no response from the actor.
Salman Khan also said in the finale episode that Akshay Kumar is going to come with Veer Pahadia for the promotion of his upcoming film Sky Force. Salman said, Akki is also a part of this film (Sky Force), I got a little late and had to leave for some functions. So he left.
The finale episode was shot with Veer Pahadia in Akshay's absence. Veer arrives at the show and announces the top-6 to top-5 contestants.
Aamir Khan also came to the show to promote son Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's upcoming film Loveyapa. Meanwhile, he recreated the iconic dialogue from the film Anjaz Apna Apna with Salman Khan. He also said that Anjaz Apna Apna 2 should also be made.
Karanveer won the Bigg Boss 18 trophy The top-3 contestants of Bigg Boss 18 were Rajat Dalal, Karanveer Mehra and Vivian DeSena. Karanveer Mehra won the Bigg Boss 18 trophy by getting the most votes, while Vivian Decena was the runner-up and Rajat was the second runner-up.
