Bengali actress Ritabhari Chakraborty says that like Malayalam cinema, Bengali industry also has sexual exploitation and rape. Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee should also look into this issue as per Hema committee report. He further said – The Hema Committee report highlighting the issue of sexual harassment in the Malayalam film industry made me think. Why is such a step not being taken in the Bengali film industry? Many of the reports that have come in are similar to my experience or the experience of any actress I know. Ritabhari said- Criminals still walk unpunished Tagging the CM, Ritabhari accused a group in the film industry of sexual harassment in her Facebook and Instagram posts. He has asked to expose such people. The actress wrote, 'Actors, directors and producers with such dirty minds and behavior continue to do their work without getting any results. Holding candles makes everyone think he understands women a little better. Ritabhari said- Is it not our responsibility to protect new artists from it? Ritabhari further wrote, 'Don't we have any responsibility towards those young actresses who come into this profession with dreams? They are believed to be nothing more than a 'sugar coated brothel'. 'People should raise their voice against such monsters' says Ritabhari, 'Let's expose these predators. I am calling on my fellow actresses to stand up against these monsters. I know you're worried about your image, you're afraid you won't get cast because most of these guys are impressive. But how long will we be silent? 'We don't want to quench anyone's thirst' he wrote at the end, 'Mamata didi, we urgently need such an inquiry in our industry. We don't want another case of rape or assault before we are taken seriously. Being in this industry does not give any man the right to look at us as an object or for the purpose of quenching our thirst for sex.
