Actress Khushboo Sundar made a sensational allegation on her father: The actress posted and wrote,- Her father had sexually abused her, has been a co-actress of Amitabh and Anil Kapoor.

Incidents of sexual harassment of female actors in the Malayalam film industry are constantly coming to light. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor's co-star actress Khushboo Sundar has made a shocking revelation. The actress said that her father physically abused her. After remaining silent for years, the actress has now raised her voice in this matter. The actress wrote on her official X platform – Salute to the women who stuck to their guns and won. Hema Committee was needed to prevent cases of rape. But will this stop? Abuse, demanding sexual favors and expecting women to settle, happen in every field. Why should only women suffer this? This happens to men too, but it is women who have to bear the brunt. The actress further wrote, I spoke to my 24 and 21 year old daughters about this. I was amazed at how she understood the victims. It doesn't matter if you talk about it today or tomorrow, just talk. By speaking up immediately, the investigation will go better and you will be able to recover from the shock faster. The actress further wrote in her tweet, “Being a woman and a mother, this kind of violence not only shakes the body but also the soul. These cases of cruelty shake our faith, love, strength and foundation. Some people ask me, why did it take you so long to say all this about being abused by your father? I guess I should have said all this earlier. But whatever happened to me was not for reconciliation. I was abused by that person who should have the strongest hand to support me when I fall. At the end of her tweet, the actress has written that, it is understandable that many women do not have the support of their families. They come from small towns with dreams in their eyes and hope to shine here. But often their dreams are shattered. This should be like a wake-up call. Stop this exploitation here. Women should talk openly. Remember that you always have a choice in life. Your no means no. Never compromise your dignity. As a woman and a mother I stand with all the victims.' Notably, the Hema Committee was formed in 2019 to investigate the issue of physical abuse of women in the Malayalam film industry. This committee has handed over a 233-page report to the Kerala government on August 19 after 4 years. In which cases of physical abuse by many big actors have been mentioned. As the reports surface, many actresses are opening up about the incidents of abuse that happened to them. Recently actress Meenoo Munir filed a harassment complaint against 7 actors including senior Malayali actor Mukesh. Actress Revathi Sampath has also filed a complaint under section 354 against senior actor Siddiqui. SIT (Special Investigation Team) has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigating these cases. which is designed for such cases. Notably, 53-year-old actress Khushboo Sundar is a well-known name in South cinema. The actress has been a part of dozens of films in Hindi cinema like 'Lavaris', 'Naseeb Apna-Apna', 'Kalia', 'Mary Jung'. Khushboo played the role of Anil Kapoor's sister in the film 'Mary Jung'. Apart from being an actress, Khushboo is a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In the year 2000, Khushboo met South's famous filmmaker C. Married to Sundar.
