Kuldeep Khurana, father of model-turned-Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana, has been sent to jail for 14 days by the Phillaur court. A case was registered against Kuldeep Khurana for assaulting and abusing an on-duty deputy tehsildar during the Lok Sabha elections in Goraya about 5 months ago.
Under which he was arrested and produced in court. After which the court announced the decision to send him to jail. Goraya Police Station SHO Palwinder Singh has confirmed this. He said he was arrested for obstructing work while on duty.
An FIR was registered based on the video SHO Harpreet Singh said that Deputy Tehsildar Jagpal Singh had filed a complaint against him 5 months ago. When he was leaving the office for his duty, Kuldeep Khurana came from the other side and started swearing. Meanwhile, an employee present with him made a video of the entire incident. Based on this video, the police have registered a case against Kuldeep Khurana.

Arrested based on intelligence from Ludhiana After the case was registered, the police was looking for Himanshi Khurana's father Kuldeep Khurana. Several raids were conducted by the police in Ludhiana regarding this. But nothing happened. Yesterday, the police received a tip-off that the said accused had come to her house. Based on the information, the police raided and arrested him. After which Kuldeep Khurana was produced in Phillaur court. Where the court sent Khurana to jail. Khurana has been kept in Kapurthala jail by the police.
