Actress Asha Sharma passes away at 88: Cause of death not clear, played Shabri in Prabhas' film 'Adipurush'

88-year-old actress Asha Sharma has passed away. The Cine and TV Artistes Association shared this information in a post on its X handle. However, the exact cause of the actress' death has not been revealed. Asha Sharma acted in many TV shows and films. She was seen in the role of Shabari in the 2023 film 'Adipurush'. CINTAA mourns death of actress Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) tweeted on its X handle at 3:01 pm on Sunday to inform about the demise of Asha Sharma. He also mourned the death of the actress. Asha Sharma was bedridden since last April Talking to the media on the death of Asha Sharma, actress Tina Ghai said- 'After the release of her film 'Adipurush' last year, she collapsed 4 times. She was bedridden since last April. She was also ready to work on stage. She wanted to work till her last breath.' The director of the film Adipurush said – She was a good person. The director of the film Adipurush Om Raut also expressed grief over the death of Asha Sharma. He said- 'This is very unfortunate. She was such an amazing actress and person. Very sad to hear of his demise.' Asha Sharma started her acting career at the age of 13, having also worked with Dharmendra and Hema Malini. She was known for playing mother and grandmother roles in films and TV shows. He also acted in Dharmendra and Hema Malini's film 'Do Dishan'. The film also featured actors like Prem Chopra, Aruna Irani and Nirupa Roy. Apart from this, Asha Sharma was also seen in films like 'Muzhe Kuch Kahna Hai', 'Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha' and 'Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam'. Viewers have seen Asha Sharma a lot on the small screen, having also been a part of popular TV shows. He acted in TV shows like 'Mann Ki Awaaz', 'Pratijna', 'Kumkum Bhagya'.
