Actors associated with BMCM start getting dues: Film crew comes out in support of director Ali Abbas, says- he paid dues with subsidy money

Recently, Frontpage Insights revealed that Pooja Entertainment founder and renowned filmmaker Vasu Bhagnani has frozen Rs 7.3 crores of film director Ali Abbas Zafar. Besides, he has not paid the crew members.

However, this money has not been paid by Vasu Bhagnani's company Pooja Entertainments but by Ali Abbas Zafar. Many actors associated with the film have spoken in favor of Ali in this matter.

Ali directed the film Bade Mian Chhote Mian under Vasu's banner Pooja Entertainment, for which he is yet to receive payment.

Ali Abbas Zafar, not Vasu Bhagnani, paid the money In fact, recently Vasu had also accused Ali of misusing subsidy funds received during the shooting of the film in Abu Dhabi. Now the crew members and actors have come forward saying that Ali has paid their dues with subsidy money.

This also includes the name of the film's action director Parvez Shaikh. Thanking Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Mehra on social media, he wrote, Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Mehra have paid all my payments through Movie Stunt Artist Association from the subsidy received from Abu Dhabi for the film 'Bade Mian Chhote Mian'.

Steven Bernard, the film's editor, said, 'While working on Pooja Entertainment's film Bade Mian Chhote Mian, we all faced a common problem which was related to payment. While working day and night on a project, everyone feels that they should get their fees on time, but in the end, when a lot of money is left and the money is stuck for five months after the release of the film, the problem arises. I followed up a lot as I needed money due to my father's ill health. During this time Ali Abbas Zafar supported me and assured me that I would get my wages. Finally, within a week of receiving the subsidy from Abu Dhabi, Ali Abbas Zafar paid me the full balance.'

Apart from these two actors, around 10 crew members took to social media to thank Ali Abbas Zafar and his team for clearing the dues. It includes Khalid (Actor), Shaurya Kohli (Assistant Director), Diksha Pradhan (Assistant Director), Saurabh Kumar (Associate Director), Sahab (Actor), Anurag Pandey (Associate Editor), Malvika Bajaj (Costume Designer), Rohid Khan (Actor). ) and include Markin (DOP). According to reports, choreographer Bosco Martis has also been paid dues from the Abu Dhabi subsidy.

According to sources, the dues of around 150 vendors, technicians and crew members will be cleared by the end of this week.
