Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, after playing the role of a child actor in a few films, made his debut as a lead in the 1984 film Holi. Aamir gave a kissing scene in this film. However, his co-star Keetu Gidwani said that Aamir Khan was very nervous while doing the scene.
Actress Kitoo Gidwani recently spoke about working with Aamir in an interview given to Siddharth Kannan. He said, 'Aamir was very calm. He was as nervous as I was when it came time for our kissing scene. We were both very nervous. He was very polite. He was very gentle and sweet in those days. He did not get fame at that time. Then he was a simple actor like us. He was not famous like me. I was Keetu Gidwani and he was Aamir Khan. There was no difference between us.'
Kitoo further said, I had no knowledge of his family or background. I was the only South Bombay actress who was in cinema. She used to go to Filmcity and shoot. We had a small love scene, when we walk into the room and we are about to kiss and then suddenly the door opens and we are shocked.
Kitoo Gidwani talks about his friendship with Aamir Kitoo Gidwani has worked with Aamir in films like 'Artha' and 'Dhobighat'. During the conversation, Siddharth Kannan asked him if he could call Aamir a friend. On this he said, yes, one day we went to the success or pre-release party of the film Fashion. Madhur Bhandarkar invited us to a bar in Juhu. Don't know why Aamir also came there. While Priyanka was cutting the cake, Aamir came to me and said, Kitoo you know, you are the best person on this earth.'
It is to be noted that actress Kitoo Gidwani got recognition across the country from the television show 'Shaktiman'. She played the role of Geeta Biswas in the show. He has acted in many films like 'Holly', 'Student of the Year', 'Fashion', 'OK Jaanoo', 'Fitraat'.
