Aamir wanted to quit the industry during 'Lal Singh Chadha': Kids refused, ex-wife Kiran Rao got emotional and cried over the actor's decision

Aamir Khan's film 'Lal Singh Chadha' was released in the year 2022. In a recent interview, Aamir said that he was going through an emotional phase during the shooting of this film. He decided to leave the industry. When he conveyed this decision to his ex-wife Kiran Rao, she became very emotional and started crying. Even his children forbade him to leave the industry.

Aamir left the industry in an emotional phase Recently, Aamir and his ex-wife Kiran Rao were talking to Hollywood Reporter India. During this conversation, the actor revealed that the decision was taken during Covid. He said, 'I was going through an emotional phase at the time. I realized that I have spent my whole life in cinema and films since the age of 18. Due to this I cannot give time to my family. Because of work, I could never make time for my relationships – children, siblings and family. Be it Kiran or Reena, I couldn't give much time to anyone.

Wanted to give time to family He realized this during the shooting of 'Lal Singh Chadha', as half of the film was shot pre-Covid and the rest post-Covid. Aamir further said, 'I have done many films in the last 35 years, but now I want to focus on my family. I'm glad I realized this at 56-57 and not at 88, because it would have been too late.

Kiran was emotional after hearing the decision When he informed Kiran of this decision, Kiran became very emotional and called him alone to the balcony and asked, 'Are you leaving us?' Aamir replied, 'No, I'm not leaving you, I'm leaving films.' In response to this, Kiran said, 'If you are leaving films, it means you are leaving us.' Entered the acting field at the age of 8 Aamir's acting journey started at the age of 8. He acted as a child actor in Nasir Hussain's film 'Yaado Ki Baaraat'. After this, at the age of 18, he played an adult role in his first film 'Subah-Subah'. However, this FTII film could not be released.
