I realized that I have spent my whole life in cinema and films since the age of 18. Due to this I cannot give time to my family. Because of work, I could never make time for my relationships – children, siblings and family. Be it Kiran or Reena, I couldn't give much time to anyone.

Aamir further said, 'I have done many films in the last 35 years, but now I want to focus on my family. I'm glad I realized this at 56-57 and not at 88, because it would have been too late.
