Debt-ridden telecom company Vodafone-Idea (VI) has suffered a consolidated loss of Rs 7,176 crore in the second quarter of FY 2025. The company had suffered a loss of Rs 8,746 crore in the same quarter a year ago. VI losses have declined by 18% year-on-year.
In the July-September quarter, Vodafone-Idea's consolidated operational revenue increased by 2.01% year-on-year to Rs 10,932 crore. The company's revenue in the same quarter a year ago was Rs 10,716 crore. The amount received from selling goods and services is called revenue.
Vodafone-Idea shares fell 47.03% this year
VI shares today (Wednesday, November 13) closed at Rs 7.39 after falling 3.65%. The company's stock has fallen 18.70% in one month, 41.35% in 6 months and 47.03% in one year. The market-cap of the company is Rs 51.37 lakh crore.
What is standalone and consolidated?
The results of companies come in two parts – standalone and consolidated. Standalone shows the financial performance of only one unit. Whereas, in the consolidated financial report, the entire company is reported.
