Share market fell after making all-time high: Gold came down to ₹ 73,202 per 10 grams, Supreme Court rejected the petition of telecom companies

2. Gold price falls, silver becomes expensive: Gold comes at Rs 73,202, silver rises by Rs 869 to Rs 88,275 per kg

There is a slight decline in the price of gold on Thursday. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 55 to Rs 73,202 on Thursday. Earlier its price was Rs 73,257 per ten grams.

Silver is on the rise today. It has risen by Rs 869 to reach Rs 88,275 per kg. Earlier, silver was at Rs 87,406. This year, gold has reached an all-time high of Rs 74,222 per 10 grams in May. Silver, on the other hand, reached Rs 94,280 per kg on 29 May.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has lifted the restrictions imposed on the gold loan business of IIFL Finance Limited. The central bank had banned the company's business on March 4 this year after several irregularities were found in its gold loan portfolio. According to the restrictions, IIFL was prohibited from approving, distributing and selling gold loans.

While imposing the ban, RBI had said- For the last few months, the Central Bank was discussing these shortcomings with the senior management and auditors of the company, but no meaningful action has been taken so far in the direction of improvement. In such a situation, this ban was necessary keeping in mind the interest of the customers.

5. Supreme Court rejects petition of telecom companies: Vodafone Idea shares fell 19.07%, company owes ₹ 70,300 crore

The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed the curative petition filed in the Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) case. This petition was filed by Vodafone Idea and other telecom companies including Bharti Airtel, in which it was said that serious mistakes have been made by the Telecom Department in the calculation of AGR dues.

The biggest impact of the rejection of the petition was seen in the shares of Vodafone Idea (VI). The share of VI fell by 19.07% and closed at Rs 10.44. In fact, VI currently has an outstanding amount of more than Rs 70,300 crore.
