There is a boom in the stock market today i.e. on 14th October. Sensex is trading at the level of 81,900 with a rise of more than 500 points. At the same time, there is a rise of more than 150 points in Nifty, it is trading at the level of 25,100.
Today, more growth is being seen in metal, IT and banking shares. Whereas FMCG and auto shares are trading under pressure. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 are showing a rise and 8 are seeing a decline.
Mixed business in Asian market
- Mixed business is being seen in the Asian market. Hong Kong's Hang Seng is down 0.66%. Whereas China's Shanghai Composite is trading with a rise of 1.01%.
- On October 10, America's Dow Jones rose 0.97% to 42,863 and Nasdaq closed 0.33% to 18,342. The S&P 500 also rose 0.61% to 5,815.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹4,162.66 crore on October 11. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹ 3,730.87 crore.
Opportunity to invest in Hyundai India's IPO from tomorrow
Hyundai India's initial public offer i.e. IPO will open on October 15. Investors will be able to bid for this issue till October 17. The company's shares will be listed in the market on October 22. The company has fixed its price band at Rs 1,865-1,960. For this a bid of at least Rs 13,720 will have to be made.
There was a decline in the market on Friday
Earlier on October 11, a decline was seen in the stock market. The Sensex closed at 81,381 with a fall of 230 points. There was also a fall of 34 points in Nifty, it closed at the level of 24,964.
