There is a rise in the stock market today i.e. on 28th October. Sensex is trading at the level of 79,700 with a rise of more than 300 points. At the same time, there is a rise of more than 50 points in Nifty, it is trading at the level of 24,250.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 24 are showing a rise and 6 are seeing a decline. More gains are being seen in banking, IT and energy shares today. Today the shares of Vaari Energies and Deepak Builders and Engineers India will be listed in the market.
Asian market bullish today
- In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei is up 1.45%. Whereas Korea's Kospi is seeing a rise of 0.85% and China's Shanghai Composite is seeing a rise of 0.16%.
- On October 25, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.61% to 42,114 and the S&P 500 rose 0.03% to 5,808. The Nasdaq rose 0.56% to 18,518.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹3,036 crore on October 25. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹ 4,159 crore.
Today is the second day of IPO of Afcons Infrastructure Limited.
Today i.e. 28th October is the second day of the IPO of Afcons Infrastructure Limited, a company working in transport, construction, oil and gas sectors. Waari Energies' IPO was subscribed by 10% on the first day. You can bid for this issue till 29th October. The company's shares will be listed on BSE and NSE on November 4.
There was a decline in the market on Friday
Earlier on Friday i.e. 25th October, a decline was seen in the stock market. The Sensex closed at 79,402 with a fall of 662 points (0.83%). Nifty also fell by 218 points (0.90%), it closed at the level of 24,180. At the same time, BSE Small Cap fell by 1,307 points (2.44%) and closed at the level of 52,335.
