Sensex rises by more than 200 points: Nifty also rises by 60 points, maximum buying in realty sector

Today i.e. on 12th November, Sensex is trading at the level of 79,690 with a rise of more than 200 points. Nifty is also up by 60 points, it is trading at the level of 24,200.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 are rising and 8 are declining. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 33 are rising and 17 are declining. The realty sector is the fastest growing in the NSE sectoral index.

Mixed business for Asian markets

  • In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei is up by 0.54%. Whereas Korea's Kospi is trading with a decline of 0.82% and China's Shanghai Composite is trading with a decline of 0.34%.
  • On November 11, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.69% to 44,293 and the S&P 500 rose 0.097% to 6,001. The Nasdaq rose 0.062% to 19,298.
  • According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹2,306.88 crore on November 11. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹ 2,026.63 crore.

Jinka Logistics Solution's IPO will open tomorrow

The Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Jinka Logistics Solutions Limited will open tomorrow i.e. on 13th November. Retail investors will be able to bid in this issue till November 18. The company's shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 21.

There was flat trading in the market yesterday

Earlier yesterday i.e. on 12th November, there was flat trading in the stock market. The Sensex closed at 79,496 with a gain of 9 points.

There was a fall of 6 points in Nifty, it closed at the level of 24,141. At the same time, BSE Small Cap fell by 627 points and closed at the level of 54,286.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 were in decline and 12 were up. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 30 were in decline and 19 were up. Whereas, there was no change in one share.
