Today i.e. on October 11, the Sensex is trading at the level of 81,440 with a fall of more than 150 points. There is also a fall of 40 points in Nifty, it is trading at the level of 24,950.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 16 are rising and 14 are declining. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 28 are rising and 22 are declining. Except the IT sector of NSE, all are trading with slight rise.
Domestic investors bought shares worth ₹3,878.33 crore
- In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei is up by 0.59%. Korea's Kospi is trading down by 0.39% and China's Shanghai Composite is trading down by 1.31%.
- On October 10, the US Dow Jones fell 0.14% to 42,454 and the Nasdaq fell 0.052% to 18,282. The S&P 500 also fell 0.21% to 5,780.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹4,926.61 crore on October 10. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹3,878.33 crore.
Hyundai Motor's IPO will open on October 15 The initial public offer i.e. IPO of Hyundai Motor India Limited will open on October 15. Investors can bid for this issue till October 17. The company's shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 22.
There was a rise in the market yesterday Earlier yesterday i.e. on October 10, the Sensex had closed at the level of 81,611 with a gain of 144 points. Nifty also rose by 16 points, it closed at the level of 24,998.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 16 were up and 13 were down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 27 were in decline and 23 were up. NSE's Pharma sector had the biggest decline of 2.01%.
