The stock market made an all-time high today i.e. on 24 September for the fourth consecutive trading day. During trading, the Sensex touched 85,163 and the Nifty touched 26,011. However, after this the market came down and the Sensex closed at 84,914 with a decline of 14 points.
Nifty saw a gain of just 1 point and closed at 25,940. Metal and energy stocks rose. IT, banking and FMCG stocks declined. Tata Steel's stock rose 4.32% and was the top gainer on Nifty.
Manba Finance IPO Day 2

Asian markets rise today
- Asian markets are on the rise. China's Shanghai Composite Index rose by 4.15% and Japan's Nikkei rose by 0.57%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index also rose by 4.13%.
- On September 23, the Dow Jones of the US market rose 0.15% to close at 42,124. The Nasdaq rose 0.14% to 17,974 and the S&P 500 rose 0.28% to close at 5,718.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 404.42 crore on September 23. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) also bought shares worth Rs 1,022.64 crore.
Yesterday the market made an all time high
Earlier yesterday, i.e. on September 23, the market had made a new all-time high for the third consecutive trading day. During trading, the Sensex touched 84,980 and the Nifty touched 25,956.
After this, the Sensex closed at 84,928 with a gain of 384 points. Nifty also gained 148 points and closed at 25,939. Today, auto, FMCG and banking stocks gained more.
