Sensex falls by 700 points: Trading at 76,800, all 10 shares of Adani Group fell; Nifty also slipped 200 points

A decline is being seen in the stock market today i.e. on 21st November. Sensex is trading at the level of 76,800 with a fall of more than 700 points. At the same time, there is a rise of about 200 points in Nifty, it is trading at the level of 23,300.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 25 are showing decline and 5 are seeing rise. Today there is a huge decline in banking and auto shares. Adani Ports shares are in lower circuit of 10%. There is an increase in IT shares today.

Mixed business for Asian markets

  • In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei is up by 0.83% and Korea's Kospi is up by 0.19%. At the same time, a decline of 0.14% is being seen in China's Shanghai Composite.
  • On November 20, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.32% to 43,408 and the S&P 500 closed 0.002% higher at 5,917. The Nasdaq fell 0.11% to 18,966.
  • According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹3,411 crore on November 19. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹2,783 crore.

This IPO has been subscribed 1.47 times in the retail category, 0 times in the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category and 0.17 times in the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category.

There was a rise in the market on 19th November On November 19, the Sensex closed at 77,578 with a gain of 240 points. Nifty had gained 65 points, it closed at the level of 23518. However, the Sensex saw a fall of 873 points from the day's high. In the morning the Sensex was up by about 1000 points. Nifty had slipped 262 points from the above level. The stock market was closed on November 20 due to Maharashtra Assembly elections.
