Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Tony Vinciquerra will step down from his position early next year. He will then be succeeded by Ravi Ahuja from January 2, 2025, who will take charge at the Hollywood arm of Tokyo-based Sony Group Corp.
The company gave this information by issuing a statement on Tuesday. Tony Vinciquerra joined Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2017. He will remain in the role of advisor to the company as non-executive chairman till the end of December 2025.
Sony Pictures said Tony was involved in other decisions, including the divestiture of most of the company's cable networks and the Crunchyroll acquisition in 2021.
