3. Rupee at low level of 84.24 against dollar: Dollar strengthened after US election results, this will make imports expensive.
The Indian Rupee has reached its all-time low. The rupee has fallen by about 0.1141 paise against the US dollar on Wednesday (November 6). After the day's trading it closed at Rs 84.2366 per dollar.
Since October 10, there has been a continuous small and big decline in the rupee. Earlier yesterday i.e. on October 5, the rupee had closed at its lowest level of 84.1225 per dollar. On October 10, the Indian currency was at the level of 83.9685 against the dollar. On October 17, it had reached the level of 84.03 against the dollar.

4. Tata Steel profits of ₹758 crore in the second quarter: Revenue fell 3.19% to ₹53,904 crore, stock gave 28% return in one year
Tata Steel's consolidated net profit in the second quarter (July-September) of the financial year 2024-25 increased to ₹ 758.84 crore on an annual basis (YoY). The company had suffered a loss of Rs 6,511 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Tata Steel has released its second quarter results today on 6 November. Consolidated revenue from operations of Tata Steel has declined by 3.19% on an annual basis.

5. Vehicle sales increased by 32.14% in October: Maruti Suzuki sold maximum 1.99 lakh cars, Hero MotoCorp on top among two-wheelers.
Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) has released the report of vehicles sold in October 2024. According to this, 28 lakh 32 thousand 944 vehicles were sold in the Indian auto market last month with a growth of 32.14% on annual basis. Whereas in October last year, 21 lakh 43 thousand 929 vehicles were sold.
The highest growth of 36.34% has been seen in the sales of two wheelers. Last month, a total of 20 lakh 65 thousand 095 two wheelers were sold in the country, in which Hero MotoCorp was at number one with sales of 5 lakh 76 thousand 532 two wheelers. A year ago, a total of 15 lakh 14 thousand 634 two-wheelers were sold.
