Modi said- Global economy grew by 35% in 10 years: While Indian economy grew by 90%, it is our resolve to provide good governance to the countrymen

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the ET World Leaders Forum in New Delhi on Saturday. During this, PM Modi said that when the results of the Lok Sabha elections came, I had said that in the third term our government will work three times faster. I assure you that now the intentions are stronger and like every citizen of the country, the government is also full of hope and confidence. The PM further said that in the last 10 years, the global economy has grown only 35%, while the Indian economy has grown almost 90% in the same time. This is a sustainable development that our country has achieved. It will continue to move forward. Our mantra has been constant improvement, performance and change. Seeing the achievements of the country, the people of our country are also now full of confidence. 3 crore houses approved PM Modi said that not even 100 days have passed, we are engaged in modernizing the physical infrastructure. We are expanding the social infrastructure. We are constantly pushing forward reforms. In the last three months, we have taken big decisions one after the other for the poor, farmers, youth and women. We have approved three crore new houses for the poor. 25 crore people came out of poverty in 1 decade Prime Minister Modi said that 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the last 1 decade and these people have not just come out of poverty, they have created a new middle class. This speed and scale is historic. We have changed the government's attitude towards the poor. They did not have bank accounts, did not have basic facilities. Therefore, we removed their obstacles. Those who did not have bank accounts for decades are today doing digital transactions from their accounts. Those for whom the doors of banks were closed. They are getting bank loans without guarantee today, they are becoming entrepreneurs today. He said – Today atrocities against women, safety of children are a serious concern of the society. Many strict laws have been made for the safety of women in the country. In 2019, the government established a fast track special court. Under this, there is a provision of deposition centers for important witnesses. In this too, the role of the District Monitoring Committee is important, which includes the District Judge, DM and SP. These committees need to be made more active.
