Mukesh Ambani's daughter and non-executive director of Reliance Retail Isha Ambani and Toddler's Parita Parekh have been included as the youngest women in the first list of '2024 Hurun India Under 35'.
At the same time, Ankush Sachdeva of ShareChat and Akash Ambani of Reliance Jio are the youngest individual entrepreneurs. Their age is 31 years. 82% of the entrepreneurs included in this report of Hurun India are from the first generation.
There are a total of 7 women under the age of 35 in the list
The 2024 Hurun India Under-35 list includes seven other women entrepreneurs, including Aneri Patel, Anisha Tiwari and Anjali Merchant, who are aged 33 or 34. They are at the top among women leaders who continue their family businesses.
Tria Health's owner, 34-year-old Saloni Anand, has also been included in the list. Tria does business in the hair care sector. Apart from this, Mama Earth's owner Ghazal Alagh has also been included in this list by Hurun.
Most of the entrepreneurs are from Bengaluru (29%) and 59% are from service sector
In this list, maximum 29 people have been included from Bangalore and 26 from Mumbai. If we talk about sector wise, maximum 21 entrepreneurs have been included from the finance sector and 14 from the software and service sector. This list shows that the service sector has a big role in India's startup ecosystem. 59% of the entrepreneurs included in this list are from the service sector.
The value of the business of people included in the Hurun list is more than ₹ 418 crore
This list includes 150 entrepreneurs in the country who are 35 years of age or younger. Hurun India includes first generation entrepreneurs whose business valuation is $50 million (about Rs 418 crore) and next generation business entrepreneurs whose business valuation is $100 million (about Rs 837 crore).
