Gold and silver prices fell today: Gold fell by ₹ 231 to ₹ 78,015, silver became cheaper by ₹ 1,693 and was being sold at ₹ 95,800 per kg.

A decline was seen in the prices of gold and silver today i.e. on 25th October. According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA) data, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 231 to Rs 78,015. A day before this, gold had closed at Rs 78,246 per ten grams.

At the same time, the price of silver also fell by Rs 1,693 and it came to Rs 95,800 per kg. A day before this, silver had closed at Rs 97,493. When the market opened on October 23, gold had made an all-time high of Rs 78,703 and silver of Rs 99,151.

  • Delhi : The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 73,100 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 79,730.
  • Mumbai : The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 72,950 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 79,580.
  • Kolkata : The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 72,950 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 79,580.
  • Chennai : The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 72,950 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 79,580.
  • Bhopal : The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 73,000 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 79,630.

Gold can go up to Rs 79 thousand by the end of the year

According to Anuj Gupta, Commodity and Currency Head, HDFC Securities, gold is getting support due to geopolitical tension and the beginning of the festive season. Due to this, an increase in gold and silver may be seen in the coming days. This year gold can go up to Rs 79 thousand per 10 grams. At the same time, silver can also reach Rs 1 lakh per kg.

Always buy certified gold bearing the hallmark of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). There is a 6 digit hallmark code on gold. This is called Hallmark Unique Identification Number i.e. HUID. This number is alphanumeric i.e. something like this – AZ4524. Through hallmarking it is possible to find out how many carats of gold is.
