    CNG and PNG may become expensive: Adani Total cuts gas supply by 13%, gold becomes cheaper by ₹ 3643 in a week

    Yesterday's big news was related to the price of CNG and PNG. Adani Total Gas, an Adani Group company, has announced a further 13% cut in its gas supply from GAIL (India). This cut will be effective from Saturday (16 November 2024). Due to this, the prices of CNG and PNG may increase.

    At the same time, this week there has been a big fall in the prices of gold and silver. According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), on last Saturday i.e. on November 9, gold was at Rs 77,382, which has now come down to Rs 73,739 per 10 grams (on November 16). That means this week its price has decreased by Rs 3,643.

    1. Adani-Total announced 13% reduction in gas supply from GAIL: This reduction is effective from today, prices of CNG and PNG may increase.

    Adani Total Gas, an Adani Group company, has announced a further 13% cut in its gas supply from GAIL (India). This cut will be effective from Saturday (16 November 2024). Due to this, the prices of CNG and PNG may increase.

    The company said that this cut will have an adverse impact on its profits. Shares of Adani Total Gas saw a rise of 0.75% on Thursday and the stock closed at Rs 684.15 on BSE. The market cap of the company is Rs 75,243.51 crore.

    2. There was a decline in gold and silver this week: Gold fell by Rs 3,643 to Rs 73,739, silver was being sold at Rs 87,103 per kg.

    This week there has been a big fall in the prices of gold and silver. According to the Website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), on last Saturday i.e. on November 9, gold was at Rs 77,382, which has now come down to Rs 73,739 per 10 grams (on November 16). That means this week its price has decreased by Rs 3,643.

    Whereas, if we talk about silver, it was at Rs 90,859 last Saturday, which has now come down to Rs 87,103 per kg. In this way, its price has decreased by Rs 3,756 this week. On October 23, silver had made an all-time high of Rs 99,151 and on October 30, gold had made an all-time high of Rs 79,681.

    Tata Motors has updated its two SUVs Harrier and Safari with level-2 Advanced Driving Assist System (ADAS) features. The ADAS suite of Tata Harrier and Safari will now include features like Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Adaptive Steering Assist (ASA).

    Lane assist monitors the car's lane position and helps the car stay in lane. On the other hand, Adaptive Steering Assist works in conjunction with Adaptive Cruise Control to maintain the cruising speed and keep the car in the lane.
