BSNL launches seven new services: Gold reaches record high of ₹78,232, India's GDP growth to be 7% in FY25

3. India's GDP growth will be 7% in FY-25: IMF said- Indian economy will grow at the rate of 6.5% in FY-26.

7. Paytm net profit of ₹ 930 crore in Q2FY25: This included ₹ 1,345 crore from sale of movie ticketing business, share fell by more than 4%

Paytm's parent company One 97 Communications has made a net profit of ₹ 930 crore in the second quarter of FY 2024-25, compared to a loss of ₹ 290.5 crore in the same period last year. There was a one-time contribution of ₹1,345 crore to the company's net profit.

Excluding the amount from the sale of movie ticketing business, Paytm has suffered a loss of ₹415 crore in this quarter, which is more than the loss recorded in the same quarter last year. The company has released the results of Q2FY25 i.e. July-September on Tuesday (22 October).

8. Hyundai's share listed at ₹ 1931, down 1.5%: Issue price was ₹ 1960, total was subscribed 2.37 times, country's biggest IPO.

9. Ambuja Cements will buy 46.8% stake of Orient Cement: Deal made for Rs 8,100 crore, company will also bring open offer for 26% stake.

Adani Group's Ambuja Cements Ltd on Tuesday (October 22) announced that it will acquire 46.8% stake in Orient Cement Ltd (OCL) for Rs 8,100 crore. This deal will be completed by purchasing stocks from the promoters of OCL and some public shareholders at the rate of Rs 395.4 per share.
