Adani Green's second quarter profit increased by 39%: Income increased by 30% to ₹ 3,376 crore, stock gave 91% return in one year.

Adani Group company 'Adani Green Energy' has made a net profit of Rs 515 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25. There has been an increase of 39% on annual basis. In the same quarter a year ago, the company had registered a net profit of Rs 371 crore.

The company has earned an income of Rs 3,376 crore in the July-September quarter. A year ago, i.e. in the second quarter of the financial year 2023-24, the company's income was Rs 2,589 crore. There has been an increase of 30.4% on annual basis.

After the results, Adani Green Energy shares closed at Rs 1,684, down 1.57%. With this, the market cap of the company has also increased to Rs 2.67 lakh crore. Adani Green shares have given a return of 91.19% in one year.

Company was formed in 2015, project portfolio of 20,434 MW

Adani Green Energy was formed on 23 January 2015 as a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL). Adani Green is one of India's largest renewable energy companies with a current project portfolio of 20,434 MW.

The company is building the world's largest renewable energy plant located at a location in Khavra, Gujarat. Its capacity will be 30 gigawatt. Adani Group is building the world's largest renewable park in Khavda, Gujarat, which is spread over 530 square kilometers. This area is 5 times the size of the city of Paris. Adani Green has presence in 12 states. The CEO of the company is Amit Singh.
