Today i.e. on 27th September Sensex is trading at 85,865 with an increase of 30 points. The Nifty is also up 10 points, trading at 26,220.
Out of 30 stocks in Sensex, 14 are rising and 16 are falling. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 22 are rising and 28 are falling. Talking about NSE's sectoral index, IT sector shares have increased the most.
Asian markets saw a surge today
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei was up 0.10% and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was up 2.56%. China's Shanghai Composite Index is up 1.03%.
- On September 26, America's Dow Jones rose 0.62% to close at 42,175. The Nasdaq rose 0.60% to 18,190. The S&P 500 also rose 0.40%.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) on September 26 invested Rs. 629.96 crore shares were bought. During this period Domestic Investors (DII) also invested Rs. 2,405.12 crore worth of shares were bought.
Today is the second day of bidding for the Diffusion Engineers IPO
Today is the second day of investment in Initial Public Offer i.e. IPO of Diffusion Engineers Limited. Diffusion Engineers' IPO was subscribed a total of 7.34 times on the first day. The issue was subscribed 11.58 times in retail category, 0.03 times in qualified institutional buyers (QIB) category and 6.85 times in non-institutional investors (NII) category.
Yesterday the market made an all time high
Before this, yesterday i.e. on 26th September, the stock market had made an all-time high for the 7th day in a row. Sensex touched the level of 85,930 and Nifty touched the level of 26,250. After the day's trade, the Sensex closed up 666 points (0.78%) at 85,836.
The Nifty also rose 211 points (0.81%) to close at 26,216. Out of 30 shares of Sensex, 26 were up and 4 were down. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 41 were up and 9 were down.
