After strong cues from global markets, Sensex hit a new all-time high of 84,159 and Nifty hit a new all-time high of 25,692 today i.e. September 20.
81 shares at a 52-week high Out of a total of 2,526 stocks on the NSE, 1,771 stocks witnessed a stormy rise. While 690 shares were trading with decline. While 65 shares remained unchanged. 81 shares were trading at a 52-week high. While 24 shares have hit 52-week lows. Upper circuit is seen in 65 and lower circuit in 36.
The metal sector saw the highest gain of 1.54% Talking about NSE's sectoral index, metal sector has the highest growth of 1.54%. At the same time, the Realty sector saw a rise of 1.10%, PSU Bank 0.73%, Oil & Gas 0.49%, Auto 0.45% and FMCG 0.33%. While Nifty Consumer Durables is down 0.38%.
Nikkei of Japan 2.10% increased
- Asian markets are bullish today. Japan's Nikkei is up 2.10% and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index is up 1.72%. China's Shanghai Composite Index is seeing a slight decline.
- On September 19, the Dow Jones of the American market closed at 42,025 with an increase of 1.26%. While the Nasdaq rose 2.51% to close at 18,013. The S&P 500 is up 1.70%.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) on September 19 invested Rs. 2,547 crore worth of shares were sold. During this period Domestic Investors (DII) also invested Rs. 2,012 crore worth of shares were bought.
Bullish in small cap BSE Small and Mid Cap have recovered from yesterday's decline and are seeing strong gains. Small cap gained over 500 points with 20 stocks advancing, while 10 were declining. A surge of 200 points is seen in midcap.
Yesterday also the stock market made an all-time high
After the Federal Reserve cut interest rates, the stock market hit an all-time high today, September 19, for the second day in a row. Sensex touched the level of 83,773 and Nifty touched the level of 25,611 during the trading.
