Today i.e. December 5, Sensex is trading at 81,120 with a rise of more than 150 points. The Nifty is also trading at 24,510, up 40 points.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 are bullish and 10 are down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 28 are bullish and 22 are bearish. Media, Pharma and Metals are doing business with NSE sector declines. In the rest there is a general increase.
Foreign investors bought shares worth ₹1,797.60 crore
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei was down 0.54% and Korea's Kospi was down 0.31%. While China's Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a rise of 0.13%.
- Foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth ₹1,797.60 crore on December 4, according to NSE data. Meanwhile, domestic investors (DIIs) sold shares worth ₹900.62 crore.
- On December 4, America's Dow Jones closed up 0.69% at 45,014. The S&P 500 closed up 0.61% at 6,086 and the Nasdaq closed up 1.30% at 19,735.
Yesterday, the market was bullish
Earlier yesterday i.e. December 4, the Sensex closed at 80,956 with an increase of 110 points. The Nifty also closed up 10 points at 24,467.
Of the 30 Sensex stocks, 15 fell and 15 advanced. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 30 declined and 20 advanced. In the NSE sectoral index, PSU Banking and Realty gained more than 2%.
HDFC Life was the top gainer in the Nifty with a gain of 2.59%. Airtel was the top loser with a fall of 2.33%.
