Today i.e. 26th November Sensex is trading at 79,940 with a decline of 150 points. The Nifty is also trading down 50 points at 24,170.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 are down and 8 are up. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 32 are bullish and 18 are bearish. NSE's auto and banking sectors are trading with the biggest declines.
Foreign investors bought shares worth ₹9,947.55 crore
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei was down 1.34% and Korea's Kospi was down 0.56%. While China's Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a rise of 0.25%.
- On November 25, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 0.99% at 44,736 and the S&P 500 closed up 0.30% at 5,987. The Nasdaq also closed up 0.27% at 19,054.
- Foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth ₹9,947.55 crore on November 25, according to NSE data. Meanwhile, domestic investors (DIIs) sold shares worth ₹6,907.97 crore.
Today is the last day to bid for Enviro Infra Engineers IPO
Today is the last day of bidding for the IPO of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited. This total was subscribed 12.58 times in two trading days. The IPO was subscribed 8.82 times in retail category, 2.58 times in qualified institutional buyers (QIB) category and 34.66 times in non-institutional investors (NII) category.
The company's shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 29. The issue size of this IPO is ₹ 650.43 crore. The company plans to issue a total of 4,39,48,000 shares. It includes a fresh issue of 3,86,80,000 new shares, while the promoters will sell 52,68,000 shares. The face value of each share is fixed at ₹10.
Yesterday the market saw a boom
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 25th November, the Sensex closed at 80,109 with a gain of 992 points. The Nifty also gained 314 points to close at 24,221. Also, BSE Smallcap rose 976 points to close at 53,589.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 24 gained and 6 declined. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 43 advanced and 7 declined. All NSE sectoral indices closed higher. Nifty PSU Bank was the highest gainer at 4.16%.
