Today, November 29, the last business day of the week, the Sensex is trading at 79,440 with a surge of over 400 points. Nifty is seeing a jump of 100 points, trading at 24,000 level.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 are bullish and 10 are down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 38 are bullish and 12 are bearish. In the NSE sectoral index, all sectors except the realty sector are witnessing an increase.
Foreign investors sold shares worth ₹11,756.25 crore
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei was down 0.41% and Korea's Kospi was down 1.78%. While China's Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a rise of 0.90%.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹11,756.25 crore on November 28. Meanwhile, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹8,718.30 crore.
- On November 27, the US Dow Jones closed down 0.31% at 44,722 and the S&P 500 closed down 0.38% at 5,998. The Nasdaq also fell 0.60% to close at 19,060.
Security Diagnostics' IPO opens today
Suraksha Diagnostics Limited's Initial Public Offer (IPO) will open today. Investors can bid for this issue till December 3. The company's shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 6.
Yesterday the market saw a decline
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 28th November, the Sensex closed down 1190 points (1.48%) at 79,043. The Nifty also fell 360 points (1.49%) to close at 23,914.
Also, BSE Smallcap rose 221 points (0.41%) to close at 54,782. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 29 declined and only 1 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 46 declined and 4 advanced. The IT sector of NSE closed with a maximum decline of 2.39%.
