Today i.e. 12th November Sensex is trading at 79,690 level with a jump of more than 200 points. The Nifty is also trading at 24,200, up 60 points.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 are bullish and 8 are down. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 33 are bullish and 17 are bearish. Realty sector is the top gainer in NSE Sectoral Index.
Mixed business for Asian markets
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei is up 0.54%. While Korea's Kospi is trading with a fall of 0.82% and China's Shanghai Composite is trading with a fall of 0.34%.
- On November 11, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.69% to 44,293 and the S&P 500 rose 0.097% to 6,001. The Nasdaq closed up 0.062% at 19,298.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹2,306.88 crore on November 11. Meanwhile, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹2,026.63 crore.
Jinka Logistics Solutions' IPO opens tomorrow
The Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Jinka Logistics Solutions Limited will open tomorrow i.e. 13th November. Retail investors can bid in this issue till November 18. The company's shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 21.
The market was trading flat yesterday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 12th November there was flat trading in the stock market. The Sensex rose 9 points to close at 79,496.
The Nifty closed down 6 points at 24,141. Also, BSE Small Cap closed down 627 points at 54,286.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 were down and 12 were up. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 30 were down and 19 were up. Whereas, there was no change in one share.
