Today i.e. 19th November, the stock market is booming. The Sensex is trading at 78,000, up over 900 points (1.20%). Also, Nifty is also trading up 200 points (1.21%) at 23,750.
Out of 30 stocks in Sensex, 27 are gaining and only 3 are declining. Auto, energy and IT stocks are seeing an increase today. Shares of M&M and Tata Motors rose more than 2%.
Mixed business for Asian markets
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei is up 0.69%. Also, an increase of 0.32% is seen in the Kospi of Korea and a decrease of 0.39% in the Shanghai Composite of China.
- On November 18, America's Dow Jones closed down 0.13% at 43,389. The S&P 500 closed up 0.39% at 5,893 and the Nasdaq closed up 0.60% at 18,791.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹1,403 crore on November 18. Meanwhile, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹2,330 crore.
Shares of Mama Artha fell 11% Shares of Mama Earth's parent company 'Hosna Consumer' saw a steep decline today. The company's share fell 11% to Rs. 263 has happened. Earlier yesterday too, the shares of the company had seen a decline of 20%.
Actually the company has announced the quarterly results. In the July-September period, Honasa Consumer spent Rs. 19 crores, compared to a loss of Rs. 29 crore was profit.
NTPC Green Energy IPO to open from today The IPO of NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of state-owned NTPC, will open from today. Investors can bid for this public issue till November 22. The company's shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 27.
Yesterday the market saw a decline Earlier yesterday i.e. on 18th November, the stock market saw a decline. The Sensex closed down 241 points at 77,339. Also, the Nifty also fell by 78 points to close at 23,453.
