Today i.e. 13th November Sensex is trading at 78,160 with a decline of more than 500 points. The Nifty is also down 200 points, trading at 23,680.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 are down and 9 are up. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 42 are bearish and 8 are bullish. All sectoral indices of NSE are trading lower.
Asian markets decline
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei is down 1.07%. While Korea's Kospi is trading down 1.49% and China's Shanghai Composite is trading up 0.19%.
- On November 12, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 0.86% at 43,910 and the S&P 500 closed down 0.29% at 5,983. The Nasdaq closed down 0.090% at 19,281.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹3,024.31 crore on November 12. Meanwhile, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹1,854.46 crore.
Jinka Logistics Solutions' IPO opens today
The initial public offering (IPO) of Jinka Logistics Solutions will open today. Retail investors can bid in this issue till November 18. The company's shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 21.
Yesterday the market saw a decline
Prior to this, the Sensex had lost 1145 points from the day's high of 79,820 on November 12 yesterday. Also, the Nifty also fell 359 points from the day's high of 24242. After the day's trade, the Sensex closed down 820 points (1.03%) at 78675.
The Nifty also declined by 257 points (1.07%), closing at 23,883. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 27 declined and 3 advanced. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 46 declined and 4 advanced.
