Special things related to PM Modi's address This seminar will be held in three days Skill development and employment opportunities will be created in UP Semicon India Exhibition-2024 has been organized along with Electronica India and Productronica India. It is the largest electronics industry fair in South-East Asia. Many domestic and foreign companies are participating in this. Local leaders and government officials will meet here. The investment point of view will be understood. They will focus on India's growing semiconductor ecosystem so that they can find new opportunities to expand their business. To drive technological development in the country and meet domestic demand, the India Semiconductor Mission (an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) has attracted major companies such as AMD, Applied Materials and Micron Technology to invest in their chip sector. The government also intends to promote the semiconductor industry in the state, so as to make the state a hub for semiconductor industries like many other sectors. If this happens then the way of employment will arise. This will benefit investing under the Semiconductor Policy Taiwan makes 60% of the world's semiconductor chips The Indian semiconductor market was valued at $27.2 billion in 2021 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 19% to $64 billion by 2026. According to the Semiconductor Industry Association (SEMI), Taiwan accounts for 60% of global chip fabrication capacity (the ability to physically make semiconductors). The chip is made of silicon, it is like the brain of the gadget Semiconductor chips are made of silicon, which controls the electricity in the circuit. This chip helps the gadgets act like a brain. Any electronic device is incomplete without it. Computers, laptops, cars, washing machines, ATMs, hospital machines and even smartphones work on semiconductor chips.
