Gold down ₹222 to ₹73,054: Silver down ₹369 at ₹87,168 per kg, see gold price by carat

Today i.e. 18th September, the price of gold and silver is decreasing. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 222 to Rs 73,054 on Wednesday. Earlier it was priced at Rs 73,276 per ten grams.

A decrease is also seen in silver today. It has come down by Rs 369 to Rs 87,168 per kg. Earlier the price of silver was Rs.87,537. This year in May, gold was Rs. 74,222 per 10 grams reached an all-time high. Also, silver touched Rs 94,280 per kg on May 29.

  • Delhi: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 68,650 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 74,880.
  • Mumbai: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 68,500 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 74,730.
  • Kolkata: 10 grams of 22 carat gold costs Rs 68,500 and 10 grams of 24 carat gold costs Rs 74,730.
  • Chennai: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 68,500 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 74,730.
  • Bhopal: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 68,550 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 74,780.

So far this year, gold has increased by more than 9 and a half thousand rupees According to the IBJA, gold prices have increased by Rs 9,702 so far this year. Gold was Rs 63,352 on January 1, which has now touched Rs 73,054 per 10 grams. Also, the price of one kg of silver has increased from Rs 73,395 to Rs 88,028.

Gold can go up to 78 thousand rupees by the end of the year According to Anuj Gupta, Head of Commodities and Currencies, HDFC Securities, gold and silver may see an increase in the coming days. This year the price of gold can go up to 78 thousand rupees per 10 grams. While silver can also reach 1 lakh rupees per kg.
