The month of October has already started from today, along with it some rules have also changed. If we talk about the commercial gas cylinder, it has become expensive by 48 rupees. Also, the rules related to PPF and Sukanya account have also been changed. Also, the rules regarding generation of PAN card have also been changed.
Apart from this, the falling price of aviation fuel can make air travel cheaper. Oil marketing companies have increased the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) per kiloliter (1000 litres) by Rs. 6,099 has been reduced.
There will be 6 changes in the month of October…
1. Commercial gas cylinder costlier: Price hike by Rs 48, no change in domestic cylinder price From today, a commercial cylinder of 19 kg has become expensive by Rs 48.50. In Delhi, its price has increased by Rs 48.50 to Rs 1740. Earlier it was available for ₹1691.50. In Kolkata, it is available at ₹1850.50, up by ₹48, from ₹1802.50 earlier.
The price of a cylinder in Mumbai has increased by Rs 48.50 to Rs 1692.50 from Rs 1644. In Chennai, the cylinder is available for Rs 1903. However, there has been no change in the prices of 14.2 KG domestic gas cylinders. It is available for ₹803 in Delhi and ₹802.50 in Mumbai.
2. ATF Rs 4,567.76 Cheaper: Air travel can be cheaper Oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of Air Traffic Fuel (ATF) in metros. It can make air travel cheaper. According to the Indian Oil website, ATF in Delhi has become cheaper by Rs 5883 to Rs 87,597.22 per kiloliter (1000 litres). At the same time, ATF in Kolkata has become cheaper by Rs 5,687.64 to Rs 90,610.80 per kilolitre.
ATF was available at Rs 87,432.78 per kiloliter in Mumbai, now it will be cheaper by Rs 5,566.65 and will be available at Rs 81,866.13. ATF price in Chennai has come down by Rs 6,099.89. It is now Rs. 90,964.43 per kiloliter is available.
3. Change in PPF account rules: Separate interest for minors From today the rules related to PPF account have been changed. According to the new rules, if the PPF account is in the name of a minor, the Post Office Savings Account interest rate will be applicable till he turns 18. The current interest rate of PPF will be applicable on the account only after the account holder turns 18 years of age. The maturity of the account will be calculated from that date.
At the same time, if a person has more than one PPF account, the interest rate will be paid on one basic principal account. If the amount in the main account is less than the prescribed investment limit (1.5 lakh), the amount in the second account will be merged with the first account. After this merger, you will be given interest on the total amount as per the interest rate of PPF. However, the total amount of both the accounts should not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh.
4. Only legal guardian can open account in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana A major change has been made regarding the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana run by the Central Government especially for daughters. Under this, henceforth only the legal guardians of the daughters will be able to open and operate this account in their name. If a girl's Sukanya account is opened by someone who is not her legal guardian, she has to transfer the account to her legal parents. Failure to do so may result in account termination.
5. PAN rules changed: Aadhaar enrollment ID cannot be used Henceforth Aadhaar Enrollment ID will not be used in place of Aadhaar number to pay income tax or generate PAN card. The purpose of this change is to prevent misuse of PAN number. Along with this, it will also prevent a person from creating more than one PAN card.
6. Reduction in Transaction Fees: NSE and BSE change slab structure NSE and BSE have revised the transaction fees charged for cash and futures and options trades. The transaction fee for cash market in NSE is now Rs. 2.97/lakh will be the traded value. Whereas, the transaction fee in equity futures is Rs. 1.73/lakh will be the traded value.
Whereas, the premium value of options is Rs. 35.03/lakh will be. In the currency derivatives segment, NSE has charged a transaction fee for futures of Rs. 0.35/lakh at the traded value. In currency options and interest rate options, this fee is Rs. 31.1/lakh will be the premium value.

No change in petrol and diesel prices: Petrol in Delhi at Rs 94.72 per litre There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel even today i.e. 1st October. Currently, petrol is selling at Rs 94.72 per liter while diesel is selling at Rs 87.62 per liter in Delhi. While in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 103.44 and diesel at Rs 89.97 per litre.
