Police held a press conference in the Saif attack case: Say- Girftar Shariful is the accused, in which there is no doubt; Arrested has been on the basis of many evidence other than fingerprints

Saif Ali Khan was attacked in his house at 2 pm on January 16. An accused Shariful Islam has been arrested in the case. There were reports that Saif Ali Khan had reached Lilavati Hospital 2 hours after the attack, causing many theories. Now the Mumbai police held a press conference in this regard. Meanwhile, Additional Police Commissioner Paramjit Singh Dahiya has said that information about the attack was not received from Saif but from Lilavati Hospital.

According to the press conference-

  • Police officer Paramjit Singh Dahiya congratulated the Mumbai police for collecting evidence.
  • Tomorrow, the accused arrested in the Mumbai police attack will be presented to Shariful in the court and demanding enhancement of custody.
  • A knife and hexa blade have been found, the report is coming.
  • Fingerprint report has not yet been submitted to the police. Samples of fingerprints have been given to CID.
  • All the people whom the accused Shariful was in touch is being questioned.
  • On the question of arresting the wrong person, he said that the police did not suspect that the arrested Shariful was accused. They were arrested under physical, technical and oral evidence.
  • Police said he had received information about the attack on Saif from Lilavati Hospital.
  • Saif Ali Khan arrived not 4.11 but at 3 pm. This has been confirmed by the CCTV camera of Lilavati Hospital.
  • The accused is Shariful from Bangladesh. He also lived in Kolkata before coming to Mumbai. A team is also investigating in West Bengal.

January 15: Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife in the house

On the night of January 15, the accused entered the house of Saif Ali Khan in Bandra. The accused attacked Saif with a knife. He was wounded in six places, including the neck, back, hands and head. He was taken to the hospital at night.

January 16: A piece of knife stuck in the spine was removed.

According to a doctor at Lilavati Hospital, a piece of knife was trapped in Saif's spine and fluid was also draining. It has been removed by surgery. The doctor said if the knife in the actor's spine was 2 mm. If he had penetrated more, the spine would have been damaged a lot.

January 17: Saif has been shifted from ICU to a special room after the operation.

The main neurosurgeon of Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai Dr. Nitin Dange and COO Dr. Neeraj Uttami said on Friday that Saif has been shifted from ICU to a special room of the hospital. They are out of danger.

January 18: Police arrest a suspect from Chhattisgarh.

Police arrested a suspect from Durg in Chhattisgarh on Saturday. According to RPF in -charge Sanjeev Sinha, the suspect was arrested from Shalimar Gyaneshwari Express. This guy was sitting in the general compartment. He was identified on the basis of photographs sent from Mumbai. No more updates have been released about this suspicious.

January 19: Police arrest an accused

Mumbai police have told about the arrest of an accused from Thane. He claimed that he had entered Saif Ali Khan's house with the intention of stealing. It has been said that the accused has no valid document in India. He is suspected to be Bangladeshi. After coming to India, he changed his name.

January 22: Police took samples from Saif's house.

A week after the attack, Mumbai police went to Saif's house and took samples. Police took fingerprints at the handle of the door of the house, the bathroom and the younger son Ji's room. However, it was not confirmed whether the police had sealed these places shortly after the incident.
