Before Deepika, Kangana Ranaut was offered 'Padmaavat': The actress said – Female artists are not important in Bollywood, that's why I rejected the film

Kangana Ranaut is in the news because of her film 'Emergency'. The film was released in theaters on January 17. The actress is constantly in the headlines for her statements. Kangana has spoken about the directors of Hindi cinema. He said- I don't like the way women actors are presented in Hindi films.

'After the film Queen, the focus increased towards women-oriented films' Kangana Ranaut said in an interview to Ajit Bharti – I wanted to go to another level as a female artist. Whenever I met some girls, she was always seen wearing fake eyelashes and heels. I used to think I deserved better than fake eyelashes, botox etc, I'm just not that type of person. In the year 2014 my film 'Queen' was released and my film was a women oriented film. Since this film, there has been a lot of focus on women-oriented films in the Hindi film industry.

In the year 2014, the movie Queen was released in cinemas.

'Women only get 10-15 minute roles' If you look at the top five directors, the role of women in their films is so much that they are getting ready for it. An actress rarely gets a five-minute role. I got many offers to work in big films. But, the roles are rarely 10-15 minutes long, and even those in which the actress only has to play a make-up role. It does not show women in good roles.

'Women are not represented properly' Without naming Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kangana said – Another example of a great director. With films like Heeramandi, Bajirao Mastani, he has created a whole world of prostitutes. Girls do other things too right? This is very disturbing. I don't mean to insult sex workers, because I also played a sex worker in Rajjo.

In response to this he told me – I never give the script of my film. Then I asked her, so what is the heroine's role?' That said, the hero sees the heroine getting ready in the mirror and is surprised, the same role the actress is supposed to play.

The actress is gearing up for the entire film – Kangana Kangana continued – When I actually saw the film, I realized that the actress was getting ready for the entire film in real. The director was right. On not taking the name of the film's director and actress, Kangana said – I don't want to pay more attention to such people by saying their names.
