Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has won the ICC Player of the Month award for his performance in December. The ICC also nominated South African bowler Dan Patterson and Australian captain Pat Cummins.
Australia's Annabelle Sutherland has received this award in the women's category. India's Smriti Mandhana and South Africa's N Malaba were also in the race. Sutherland took 9 wickets in 5 matches and also scored 269 runs.

Bumrah took 22 wickets in 3 matches in December Jasprit Bumrah played 3 Tests against Australia in December. In which he took 22 wickets in his name. He took 18 wickets in Melbourne and Brisbane. He could only take 4 wickets in Adelaide, as Australia won the match after batting just 2 overs in the second innings.
Bumrah has climbed to the top of the Test ratings due to his brilliant performances.
Jasprit Bumrah became the player of the series against Australia.
Patterson took 13 wickets and Cummins took 17 wickets South Africa's Dan Patterson was also included in the race for Player of the Month. He took 13 wickets in just 2 Tests against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. While Australian captain Pat Cummins took 17 wickets in 3 Tests against India.
Sutherland took 9 wickets with two centuries Annabel Sutherland played 5 ODIs in December. In the three-match series against India, he scored 122 runs with the help of a century. Also took 6 wickets in bowling. In two ODIs against New Zealand, he scored 147 runs and took 3 wickets. She became the Player of the Series in both the series.
