Serbia's star tennis player Novak Djokovic has claimed that he was poisoned in Australia in January 2022. He made the claim ahead of the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the year. Australian Open 2025 will start from January 12.
Djokovic has been banned from the Australian Open in 2022 for not taking the Covid-19 vaccine. He gave false information in travel documents ahead of Australian Open 2022. For this he was detained in Melbourne. After this, his visa was canceled and sent back from Australia. He was kept in a hotel in Melbourne during the legal proceedings. He says that it was here that he was poisoned.

I had some health problems and realized that the food I was served in that hotel in Melbourne was full of poison. When I came back to Serbia I realized a few things. I never told anyone this publicly, but it turned out that I had very high levels of heavy metals in my body. I had lead in my body, very high levels of lead and mercury.
