Today is the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Actors Neha Joshi and Ayudh Bhanushali of the TV serial 'Atal' arrived here in Gwalior, known as the city of Atalji, on this occasion.
In this show, Neha is playing the role of Atalji's mother Krishna Devi, while Ayudh is seen in the role of Atalji's childhood. Both the actors visited the historical places of Gwalior and shared their experiences and told interesting things about their characters.
Standing here, I realized how special Atalji's family was: Neha Joshi Neha Joshi shared her experiences while staying at Atalji's house. “After coming here, I felt a different kind of peace and nature,” he said emotionally. This is the place where Atalji spent his childhood with his family. Although this place has changed now, every corner here tells the stories of him and his family.
Further, when I read about his father Krishna Bihari Vajpayee and mother Krishna Devi, I realize how strong and educated this family was. His mother taught her children to distinguish between right and wrong and to always believe in themselves. While playing this character I realized that no matter how difficult the situation is, a mother's confidence makes her children strong.
Talking about the lessons she learned from her character, Neha said, 'Atalji's mother was an educated woman, which was a big deal for those times. He taught his children values and ideals and taught them not to give up even in difficult situations. I learned from this character that playing a strong mother is a huge responsibility.
Playing Atalji's character is a blessing for me: Child actor Ayudh Bhanushali Expressing her happiness, Ayudh Bhanushali said, after coming to Gwalior and seeing Atalji's house, I feel as if I have touched a part of him. Our set and this actual place are a bit similar, but the feel here is something different.
Sharing the Sikhs associated with his character, he said, Atalji's greatest quality was to treat everyone equally. He never considered even his enemies as enemies. Learning this inspires me a lot. I am very lucky that I got the chance to play great people like Atalji. I would like to get a chance to play such big characters in the future as well.
A taste of Gwalior and Atalji's favorite sweet During their visit to Gwalior, Neha and Ayudh also tasted Atalji's favorite sweet Motichoor Ladoo. Neha said, we came to know that Atalji used to order laddoos from Bahadura Sweets. We also came here and tasted this ladoo. Its taste is very special. Apart from this, the kachori and samosa chaat here are also amazing.
Atal Ji's thoughts and our roots Talking about Atalji's thinking and his contribution to today's generation, Neha said, In today's time when everyone is in a rush to move forward, it is very important to connect with one's roots. Celebrities like Atalji teach us that we should never forget our traditions and culture. Their stories remind us of our Indianness. This journey was not special for me personally, but it also helped me understand my character better. Atalji's life is like a book, from which one learns something new on every page.
