Triumph Motorcycles India has launched an updated model of its modern classic bike Triumph Speed Twin 900 in the Indian market. The look of the new classic bike has been changed and some changes have been made to the hardware, but the engine has not been changed.
The bike has features like call and music control along with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation. It is priced at Rs 8.89 lakh (ex-showroom). It is Rs 40,000 more expensive than the previous model.
The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 is offered in three dual tone color options. It includes bold accents + pure white, gold details + phantom black and red outline + aluminum silver color.
The new Triumph Speed Twin 900 gets a sculpted tank with a new color scheme, while smaller fenders and compact tail lamps give it a minimalistic look. Black red stainless steel exhaust headers with blacked-out components and upswept exhaust further enhance the classic look of the new Speed Twin 900.
New Triumph Speed Twin 900 Features In terms of equipment, the new Triumph Speed Twin 900 gets USD forks, dual shocks at the rear, disc brakes with dual-channel ABS at both ends, four-piston calipers for brakes, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels and a digital instrument cluster. is
In terms of electronics, the Speed Twin 900 keeps it simple with cornering ABS, traction control, heated grips, cruise control and LED lighting all around. The instrument cluster is an LCD unit with an integrated TFT screen for reading additional information. The motorcycle also gets Bluetooth connectivity as part of the update.
New Triumph Speed Twin 900 Engine Specifications
The new Triumph Speed Twin 900 features a 900 cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine with a 270 degree firing order. The engine produces 64bhp and 80Nm of torque mated to a 5 speed gearbox. The engine is fuel-injected and has two ride modes – Road and Rain.
The Triumph Speed Twin 900 has no direct competitor in India except the Kawasaki Z900 RS. The Japanese motorcycle is priced at Rs 16.9 lakh ex-showroom, which is almost double the price of the Speed Twin 900.
