Honda Motor Cycle & Scooter India HMSI on Saturday, December 21 launched a new updated version of its most popular scooter 'Activa 125'. It has added new colors and advanced features. Instead of an LCD display, it now has a new 4.2-inch TFT display, which will provide real-time mileage, average mileage and remaining distance information.
The display can also be connected to Honda's RoadSync app, which can use functions like call alerts and navigation assist. A USB Type-C charging port is also provided in the scooter. H-Smart technology will be available in its top variant Smart, which also offers car-like keyless features. The 2025 Honda Activa is available in 6 color options.
The new 2025 Honda Activa 125 is currently launched in two variants DLX and Smart. Its price is Rs. 94,422 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs. 14,186 are more. The company will soon launch other variants with features like front drum brakes. The only other family 125CC scooter with a TFT display is the top Smart Connect variant of the TVS Jupiter 125, priced at Rs. is 90,721.

Performance: 8.19bhp engine with start-stop system The scooter has a 124CC single cylinder PGM-FI engine with updated On-Board Diagnostic-2 (OBD2). This engine generates a power of 8.19bhp at 6250rpm and a peak torque of 10.4Nm at 5000rpm. The scooter will also run on E-20 compliant petrol. The scooter is equipped with a start-stop system, which gives better mileage. Features: Side-stand cut-off switch The new Activa 125 gets LED headlamps with side-stand cut-off switch, fuel filler cap, open glovebox and LED position lamps. Best tires have also been used in this Honda scooter to increase its mileage. The engine comes with eSP, which starts the scooter silently.
Features of Smart Key
- Smart Safe (Anti-Theft System): A smart key can be controlled to keep the scooter safe. The vehicle will be unlocked when the smart key comes within a range of 2 meters and the vehicle will automatically lock if the smart key moves away from this range.
- Smart Find: To locate the scooter in a crowded area or in a parking lot, on pressing the answer back button of the smart key, all four indicators will flash. This feature can work from a distance of 10 meters from the vehicle.
- Smart Unlock: With Honda Smart Key, you don't need to keep the keys handy. When the Smart Key is within 2 meters of the Activa, you can unlock it by pressing and turning various operation knobs like your seat, fuel cap and handle lock/unlock.
- Smart Start: Now no key is required to start the ride. Once the key is within 2 meters of the Active, a simple push of the knob will turn on the LED Smart Key indicator on the speedometer. Then turn the knob with the start/stop switch to turn on the ignition and start the engine.
